Join our dynamic team as a Work From Home Virtual Solar Consultant and become a vital driver of renewable energy solutions! In this energetic role, commission and income potential are aggressive--you will engage with prospective customers to promote solar energy systems, help families save on their electricity costs, educate them on the benefits of solar power, and guide them through the sales process. Our existing lead sources are abundant and include interested customers from premier big box retailers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help empower homeowners to make sustainable and financially-wise energy choices. This 1099 high commission position offers an exciting opportunity to make high sales commissions, advance quickly into leadership roles based on performance, and develop your sales skills while contributing to a greener future. Duties

  • Conduct outside sales activities by engaging with potential clients over the phone and via screen share.
  • Abundant leads are provided and appointments are set to calendar by existing setting team or can be self-set for a higher commission
  • Outbound dial to set and close prospective customers
  • Build rapport with customers by providing clear, detailed information about solar energy options tailored to their needs.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and follow up effectively.
  • Negotiate terms with customers, ensuring they understand the value proposition and feel confident in their decision to adopt solar solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding clients through the installation process.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of solar products and energy sales processes to support customer decision-making and foster trust.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, especially over the phone or in solar sales
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to close deals successfully.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate yourself and others in a fast-paced sales environment.
