Profile Requirements: 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in automotive, travel, lifestyle, media, or digital publishing environments. Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and audience engagement techniques. Experience editing multi-camera footage, drone footage, vehicle rolling shots, and travel-related content. Knowledge of social media video trends and platform-specific content requirements. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with automotive publications, travel brands, tourism organizations, or content creators. Familiarity with color grading techniques and cinematic editing styles. Experience creating YouTube content and optimizing videos for audience retention and engagement. Understanding of automotive terminology, vehicle features, and road-trip culture. Basic motion graphics experience using Adobe After Effects or similar software. Experience managing large video libraries, cloud-based workflows, and digital asset organization. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Consistent delivery of high-quality edited videos within agreed deadlines. Video engagement metrics, including watch time, audience retention, and viewer interaction. Accuracy and consistency of branding, graphics, and editorial presentation. Efficient turnaround times from raw footage to final publication. Quality of storytelling and overall viewer experience. Ability to support content growth across YouTube, social media, and digital publishing platforms. Skills & Attributes Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye. Experience working with remote editorial and production teams Core responsibilities: Edit automotive and travel-focused video content, including vehicle reviews, road trip features, destination guides, travel gear reviews, and behind-the-scenes footage. Transform raw footage into engaging stories that align with editorial objectives and maintain viewer interest throughout the video. Incorporate motion graphics, titles, transitions, maps, lower-thirds, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand consistency. Edit content for multiple platforms, including YouTube, social media channels, websites, and digital publications while optimizing formats and aspect ratios. Sync and enhance audio quality, including dialogue cleanup, music selection, sound effects, and audio balancing. Collaborate with writers, presenters, photographers, and content creators to ensure video content aligns with editorial standards and publishing schedules.
