Position Summary... What you'll do... Role summary: Join Walmart as a Staff Data Scientist and leverage your expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, and data visualization to drive data-driven decision-making across business functions. What you'll do: Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains and databases to support analytics initiatives. Perform data quality assessments and ensure data integrity for accurate model development. Develop, validate, and tune predictive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Create clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and monitor models in production environments. Mentor junior team members on analytical methods and best practices. Preferred Qualifications
Expertise working on agent workflows, orchestration layers, and evaluation processes. Expertise with protocol-driven systems (e.g., MCP or similar). Strong track record of building solutions quickly and iterating based on real feedback. The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
