Tier 2 Remote Support (Evenings)

Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Tier 2 System Administrator to join our Remote Operations team supporting end users across network, desktop, and systems environments. In this role, you'll be a go-to problem solver-helping users troubleshoot issues, restore functionality, and stay productive. You'll work hands-on with both hardware and software, leveraging remote tools to support a distributed user base while collaborating with a supportive team. Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems from initial report through full resolution Deliver remote support using tools such as Remote Desktop and other remote access solutions Investigate and resolve help desk tickets supporting cloud and endpoint environments Apply structured diagnostic techniques to identify root causes and implement fixes Offer guidance and support to junior team members when needed Qualifications: IAT Level 1 certification required (CompTIA A+ or Network+) HS Diploma or GED with 15+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience Experience troubleshooting hardware and supporting end-user devices Hands-on experience with Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop tools Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a shift-based support environment Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
