Role Description The Technology and Business Systems Administrator is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing and optimizing the technology and business systems that support On Point Holdings and its portfolio companies. This role oversees the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of business applications, CRM systems, and productivity tools to ensure reliability and data integrity. The administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs, streamline workflows, and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include user account management, access control, documentation of processes, and coordination with vendors or external partners for support and upgrades. The role also involves monitoring system performance, managing backups and security standards, and supporting staff through training and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience administering business systems such as CRM, ERP, or other SaaS platforms, including configuration, user management, and integrations.
- Strong skills in general IT support and troubleshooting, including basic networking, cloud-based tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), and device management.
- Proficiency in data and reporting tasks, such as creating dashboards, running queries, and producing operational reports for leadership.
- Ability to analyze processes and translate business requirements into system workflows and automation to improve efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at different technical levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote environment and work independently.
- Knowledge of information security best practices and data privacy principles relevant to business systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience supporting technology in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or professional services environments is a plus.
