Role Description The Technical Sales Specialist is a full-time, flexible traveling hybrid role. This role is responsible for promoting and selling traffic intersection operation and management systems, working closely with municipal, commercial, and engineering customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotes, responding to technical inquiries, and supporting customers through the sales cycle and post-sale implementation. The Technical Sales Specialist collaborates with internal technical support and operations teams to ensure accurate product configuration, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining detailed records in CRM systems, attending industry events or trainings as needed, and contributing feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience selling technical or infrastructure-related products or systems.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and effective presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including the ability to understand product specifications, troubleshoot basic issues, and coordinate with technical teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and a commitment to building long-term client relationships.
- Relevant experience in traffic management systems, transportation infrastructure, or related fields is beneficial.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis tools is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within the region as needed, and manage multiple accounts and priorities independently.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
