Talent Analyst
Orion Group is looking for an experienced and energetic Talent Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and hiring high potential candidates for executive positions across the holding company of Orion and its verticals.
Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a diverse range of sourcing techniques, including desk research, online databases, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify and attract high-caliber candidates
- Initial Outreach: Initiate contact with potential candidates via email, LinkedIn, or other appropriate channels, providing information about available opportunities and fostering initial engagement
- Candidate Engagement: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, addressing queries, and nurturing relationships to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a consistent flow of talent to support organizational objectives
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to understand hiring needs, refine job descriptions, and align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, application statuses, and sourcing activities within our applicant tracking system
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor practices, emerging technologies, and AI advancements in talent acquisition to enhance sourcing strategies and drive continuous improvement
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting and/or research
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes in a growth company
- Familiarity with online tools and enterprise applications
- Strong desire to build diverse and inclusive teams
- Cultivates innovation. Has practiced and made decisions on using different candidates' selection methods, implementing new ones as the company scales
