Tableau Administrator at Remote
Job Description
Role Name - Tableau Administrator Location- - Stamford, CT/Remote ROLE_DESCRIPTION - Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server.
- Perform server maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and updates.
- Monitor server performance and usage.
- Manage server topology and settings.
- Create and manage Tableau users and groups.
- Assign permissions and roles.
- Manage and organize site content through projects.
- Manage and maintain data sources connected to Tableau Server.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, dashboards, and reports.
- Provide technical support to Tableau users.
- Publish, organize, and manage Tableau content on the server.
- Ensure content is accessible and secure.
- Create technical designs, test cases, and user guides.
- Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- On Tableau Desktop, create workbooks and hyper extracts.
- Responsible for the operation of the server application.
- Responsible for site(s), permissions, content, and users, when sites are used.
- Monitors overall server health including server usage patterns, process status (up/down/failover), job status (success/failure), disk drive space and stale content.
- Monitor license provisioning, usage patterns, Tableau Bridge activity, job status (success/failure), space usage and stale content.
- Familiar with Tableau Cloud.
