This role ensures strong operating unit alignment, governance, and execution of measurable learning programs across a diverse set of business functions The role serves as a regional learning partner across multiple functions (e.g., Sales, Field, Operations, Service, Frontline Leadership) while also owning and driving global learning programs and cross-functional capability initiatives. A critical component of this role is acting as a trusted consultant, strategic operator, and integrator—leading cross-functional resources (SMEs, instructional design, delivery teams) and ensuring alignment between global strategy and regional execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Learning Partnership (Americas) Partner with regional leaders across functions to diagnose performance gaps and identify opportunities for capability building. Act as a consultative advisor, translating business priorities into targeted learning strategies. Drive alignment between regional needs and global learning priorities, balancing standardization with local relevance. 2. Global Program Ownership Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of global learning programs, including design, implementation, and scale across regions. Build and manage a portfolio of cross-functional learning initiatives (e.g., leadership, safety, technical, commercial capabilities). Drive adoption, engagement, and continuous improvement through structured program governance and stakeholder alignment 3. Learning Design & Delivery Execution Execute a blended portfolio of learning solutions, including digital pathways, instructor-led training, coaching, and on-the-job support. Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to translate technical and business content into scalable learning experiences. Ensure solutions are designed for multi-persona audiences (e.g., field technicians, sales, supervisors). There will be an initial focus on supporting our sales personas in the region, but with time other personas will be relevant as well. 4. Governance & Cross-Functional Integration Govern learning priorities across operating units, ensuring consistent standards, prioritization, and execution discipline. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, product, operations, and external partners. Establish and maintain strong stakeholder communication and program visibility across leadership levels. 5. Measurement & Business Impact Define and track learning performance metrics, including adoption, engagement, and business impact indicators. Analyze data to inform decision-making and continuously improve program effectiveness. Implement KPI frameworks and reporting standards across programs. 6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Drive innovation in applying modern learning approaches and technologies to improve scalability and effectiveness. Continuously refine content and programs based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs. Identify opportunities to enhance learning ecosystems and operational efficiency. What You Will Need to Be Successful Core Capabilities Strong consultative and diagnostic skills to translate business challenges into learning solutions. Deep expertise in instructional design and adult learning methodologies across modern delivery formats. Proven ability to influence across a matrixed global organization and drive alignment. Strong data literacy and ability to measure business impact of learning programs. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in Learning, Business, HR, or related field required. Significant experience in learning program design, delivery, and management across regions and functions. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional learning initiatives. Experience working in global and distributed environments preferred.
