Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Experience with analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL) and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI); Experience articulating ambiguous business questions and using quantitative modeling techniques to arrive at a solution; Experience processing, filtering, validating, and presenting large quantities of data (Millions to Billions of rows); Design, implement & generate sensitivity reports using linear programming and optimization models with Python & MS Excel; Present technical demos and interpret complex analytical outputs into actionable, decision-ready insights for leadership teams; Proficient in architecting complex business processes with Python-based pipelines for large-scale data processing and validation. Up to 10% domestic travel to visit clients and team meetings. Up to 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S. Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $104,832 - $134,500 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
