Solar Project Coordinator - Utah Market
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Solar Project Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of solar energy projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions by managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications. The ideal candidate will have experience with solar permits, net metering applications, and solar material purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of solar project development, including site assessment, design review, permitting, procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Google Workspace tools
- Communicate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to fulfill project tasks.
- Track project progress through regular updates
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and change order management
- Manage project documentation
- Support project managers in resource allocation, time management, and scheduling adjustments as needed for smooth project flow.
Skills
- Experience applying for permits and interconnection in UT required
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Google workspace tools
