About the job We are seeking a Shopify Developer experienced in AI-assisted development workflows, specifically using tools like Cloud Code, Cursor, and Codex/Ask Copilot. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores with speed and precision by integrating modern AI coding practices into your workflow. What You’ll Do - Develop and customize Shopify themes using - Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - Leverage AI coding tools (Cursor, Codex, Ask Copilot, Cloud Code) to accelerate development and debugging - Build and optimize Shopify storefronts for performance, scalability, and conversion - Implement custom features, APIs, and third-party integrations - Troubleshoot bugs and improve site speed, responsiveness, and UX - Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to execute high-converting pages - Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code What We’re Looking For - 3+ years of Shopify development experience - Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - Must actively use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or other agentic AI development workflows - Experience working with AI-assisted or agentic coding workflows for debugging, code generation, refactoring, and development acceleration - Experience with custom Shopify theme development and API integrations - Strong understanding of performance optimization and CRO best practices - Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work quickly - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Nice to Have - Experience with Shopify Plus - Familiarity with headless Shopify (Hydrogen, Next.js) - Experience working with e-commerce brands or agencies - Understanding of SEO and page speed optimization tools Why Join Us - Work with a top-tier growth marketing agency - Exposure to high-growth e-commerce brands - Fully remote, flexible work environment - Opportunity for long-term collaboration and growth
