Senior Travel Consultant, Amadeus
Job Description:
- Communicate and respond to requests for current and new clients
- Perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers
- Accurately and efficiently handle incoming requests via phone, email, etc.
- Support specialized customer training programs and group air fulfillment
- Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
- Provide consultation regarding client travel policy
- Fulfill requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
- Provide required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients to provide suggestions for improvement
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a travel agent
- Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Skilled with Excel and other Microsoft applications
