Senior QA Engineer (remote, full time)

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will contribute to the entire lifecycle of HTML5 casual game development - from inception to live maintenance. As a key player, you'll champion the delivery of top-notch products, becoming an integral part of an agile, multidisciplinary, and creatively charged game development team. About the role As a QA Engineer at CoolGames, you take responsibility for delivering high quality products. Your teamwork will be fundamental to the success of the products you work on. During a workday you might be testing, building and maintaining automated tests to speed up regression, reviewing requirements, drafting test cases or collaborating with teammates to figure out tricky bugs among other things. Your responsibilities will include:

• Testing games manually (black box testing);
• Identify and track project issues;
• Pay attention to user experience, gameplay mechanics, graphics, and audio elements to ensure a seamless gaming experience;
• Participate in the planning and execution of QA activities throughout all phases of the sprint lifecycle;
• Reviewing and analyzing game design documents and functional specifications;
• Creating test documentation (test plans, traceability matrix, test cases, checklists, test reports);
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing suites using tools like Playwright;
• Facilitating smooth releases and collaboration with a team;
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve quality and game experience.
