About our team Product Studio helps organizations define, design, build, and scale products, services, experiences, and AI-enabled capabilities. We work with enterprise organizations navigating technology shifts, changing customer expectations, product innovation, and the growing impact of AI. Our work sits at the intersection of business, technology, product, design, and transformation. We help organizations understand what is changing, identify where opportunities exist, and create a path forward. About the role Design systems have evolved beyond component libraries and style guides. Done well, they improve product quality, accelerate delivery, strengthen collaboration between design and engineering, and create consistency across teams, products, and experiences. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep expertise in design systems to help organizations build, evolve, and scale these foundations. This is a consulting role. You'll work directly with clients to assess existing systems, define future-state approaches, build scalable foundations, and help teams adopt better ways of working. We need someone who can do the work, explain the work, and help others succeed with it.
What You'll Do
Assess and evaluate existing design systems, processes, and operating models Help clients define design system strategies, roadmaps, governance models, and adoption plans Design and build scalable systems including components, patterns, foundations, and documentation Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure systems work effectively across design and code Improve consistency, quality, accessibility, and scalability across products and experiences Use AI and emerging technologies to improve how systems are created, maintained, and evolved Guide teams through implementation and adoption challenges Help clients understand what good looks like and how to get there Contribute to thought leadership, accelerators, and reusable methods that strengthen Product Studio's capabilities
Qualifications
What We're Looking For Deep expertise in design systems and scalable product design Experience building, evolving, and governing design systems used across multiple teams, products, or business units Strong understanding of component architecture, design tokens, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency Ability to work comfortably with both designers and engineers Strong consulting and communication skills Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at different levels of an organization Experience helping teams adopt and operationalize design systems Extensive experience using AI as part of your day-to-day practice and exploring how it changes design system creation and management Curiosity, pragmatism, and a bias toward action A portfolio that demonstrates both strategic thinking and hands-on execution Enterprise Context Matters Most of our clients are large organizations with multiple teams, products, stakeholders, and technical constraints. Experience working in enterprise, B2B, technology, software, consulting, or platform environments is highly valuable. We're looking for people who understand that successful design systems are as much about adoption, governance, and collaboration as they are about components and tooling. AI and Emerging Technology The way design systems are created, maintained, documented, and governed is changing rapidly. We're looking for someone who is actively building with AI and exploring how these technologies improve quality, consistency, speed, and scalability. Part of this role is helping clients understand how AI is changing design systems and how they can take advantage of those changes.
