Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Location: Charlotte, NC, Newark, NJ Can do Only w2, No C2C Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise applications in a hybrid environment based in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-level .NET applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, including cloud-hosted environments and production support. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Web APIs, SQL Server, and AWS, along with proven experience supporting applications within the Insurance, Risk Modeling, and Underwriting domains. This role requires a blend of application development, production support, service management, cloud operations, and modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade .NET applications.
- Build and maintain applications using:
- C#
- ASP.NET
- MVC
- Angular
- Web APIs
- SQL Server
- Provide production support for enterprise applications, including:
- Troubleshooting
- Incident resolution
- Root cause analysis
- Performance optimization
- Lead and support IT service management processes, including:
- Release Management
- Change Management
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Develop and maintain applications hosted on AWS Cloud.
- Leverage cloud APIs and services to monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across:
- Insurance
- Risk Modeling
- Underwriting
- Participate in application modernization initiatives and technology transformation programs.
- Utilize GenAI tools and automation practices to improve development efficiency and application support.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the development lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- 10 - 12 years of experience in .NET application development and support.
- Strong expertise in:
- C#
- ASP.NET
- MVC
- Hands-on experience with Angular.
- Strong experience developing and consuming:
- Web APIs
- FastAPI (preferred/related API framework experience)
- Advanced SQL development experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience supporting and maintaining production applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS-hosted applications.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and management.
- Experience with application enhancement, maintenance, and modernization projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience managing enterprise application support and service operations.
