Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer Location: New Haven, CT/Charlotte, NC/Philadelphia, PA/Rock Hill, SC/Richmond, VA Can do Only W2, No C2C Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and design patterns.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
- Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), or Microsoft Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and system bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical leadership.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Solid experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Strong API development experience using:
- REST APIs
- GraphQL
- Frontend development experience with:
- Angular
- React
- TypeScript
- (Vue.js experience is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Strong understanding of message brokers and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting using Python.
- Experience supporting multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Familiarity with enterprise application architecture and modernization initiatives.
