This role shapes the future of AP offerings through prototyping, testing, and refining instructional materials for a portfolio serving 3+ million students annually. Key Responsibilities: Develop content requirements by collaborating with subject matter experts to translate research into actionable specifications aligned with AP standards; lead instructional prototyping efforts for new course components including sample topics, skills, and project-based learning tasks; support piloting processes and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that evolve prototypes into scalable, high-quality materials. Skills & Tools: Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and learning sciences; strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities; proficiency in translating research into practical educational content; analytical and iterative problem-solving skills with capacity to work at strategic and operational levels. Qualifications: Advanced degree in instructional design, education, curriculum development, or related field preferred; 10+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content strategy with demonstrated success leading complex initiatives and managing stakeholder relationships.
