Senior Data Scientist I

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. Senior Data Scientist I 1000 Alderman Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30005 JOB DESCRIPTION: Build models, perform analytics, create AI features. Work across coding languages used in Data Science (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, R, and/or Scala) and choose the right coding language to implement the solution to answer the business questions. Serve as a domain expert in Data Science and/or Statistical Analyses to build advanced models and roll into production and execute team's Data Science best practices. Scope out and execute new statistical steps with support/approval from senior contacts. Summarize and communicate conclusions and solutions to analytic and non-analytic stakeholders. Offer mentor support to more junior Data Scientist. Perform other duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required. 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupations required. Also required is: 1 year of experience: programming in Python or R; using imperative programming languages, such as Java; using Cloud technologies, including Azure Databricks, AWS Sagemaker, and GCP; working with messy data and joining disparate datasets; and understanding appropriate machine learning methodologies to apply to problem. Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S. Experience can be concurrent. SALARY RANGE FOR REQ# R115193: $127,100 to $158,800/year + standard company benefits This salary range is specifically for REQ# R115193.
