Key Responsibilities
Lead the sourcing and procurement process for technology-related goods and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet the organization's technology needs while optimizing costs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with technology vendors. Manage and maintain strong relationships with key technology suppliers, ensuring performance and identifying opportunities for collaboration. Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of technology trends, emerging solutions, and competitive pricing. Collaborate closely with IT, Engineering, and other relevant departments to understand requirements and provide procurement support. Ensure all technology procurement activities comply with company policies, security standards, and legal regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology procurement. Manage supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives. Support budget management and financial forecasting for technology-related expenditures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, or IT asset management. Proven experience negotiating complex technology contracts, software licenses, and hardware agreements. Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud computing, and IT service models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in a hybrid environment and collaborating effectively with remote and in-office teams. Proficiency in procurement software and IT asset management tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced tech environment. Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance requirements. Strong business acumen and a strategic approach to technology sourcing.
