A growing real estate investment and property management company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team and play a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding multifamily portfolio. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll have exposure to all aspects of property accounting while helping support a growing portfolio of multifamily assets across multiple states. Key Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties Prepare and review monthly financial statements Complete bank reconciliations and cash account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Manage general ledger activity and journal entries Analyze financial performance and resolve accounting discrepancies Support investor and ownership reporting requirements Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting Collaborate with accounting leadership on process improvements and automation initiatives Work closely with property operations and executive leadership teams Qualifications 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Property accounting experience strongly preferred Multifamily real estate experience highly desired Commercial real estate accounting experience will also be considered Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software desired Strong Excel and financial reporting skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $85,000-$95,000 Annual bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision coverage Company-paid life insurance 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match Generous PTO program Birthday off every year Paid volunteer day Free onsite parking

Work Environment
