Title : SAP Vertex Consultant Location : REMOTE Duration : 12+ Months Rate : $64/Hr On W2 Relevant Experience (in Yrs.) : 6+ Detailed Job Description:
- Application Support & Incident Management
- Handle L1/L2/L3 support tickets related to SAP–Vertex integration.
- Troubleshoot tax determination issues across Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Finance modules.
- Analyze logs, RFC connectivity, and API calls between SAP and Vertex.
- Ensure timely resolution as per SLA and document RCA.
- Vertex Configuration & Maintenance
- Maintain and configure Vertex O Series (or Vertex Cloud) settings including:
- Taxability rules
- Jurisdiction codes
- Thorough Hands-on the following Vertex functionalities:
- Corporate Tax Accounting Solution - Hyperion Tax Provision – used to automate the tax provision at the
- ORU/Legal Entity and global consolidated levels - Hyperion Tax Governance – used to automate collection, tracking, and reporting of Uncertain Tax Positions, Tax Cash Flow, Deferred Tax Asset
- Recognition, and some other tax accounting processes that require a flexible data collection template distributed and collected via workflow (and integrated with the tax provision)
