Role Purpose To lead and own the SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) programme end-to-end — spanning presales, solution design, programme delivery, and early commercial traction. This is a build-phase leadership role operating at the intersection of delivery, product, and commercial execution. The Programme Lead is responsible for: Delivering successful SAP MBC implementations (design → go-live → stabilisation) Establishing a scalable, repeatable delivery model Supporting early client acquisition and revenue traction Positioning TransferMate as a credible SAP embedded payments partner The role carries full accountability for both programme success and strategic development of the SAP MBC proposition. Key Accountabilities 1. Programme Leadership & Delivery Ownership Own the full SAP MBC implementation lifecycle end-to-end Define structured delivery frameworks including: Workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables Lead multi-workstream implementations (finance, integrations, platform) Ensure delivery is: On time Within budget To agreed scope and quality standards Establish governance structures (PMO, steering committees, reporting cadence) 2. Solution Design & Technical Oversight Translate commercial and client requirements into SAP MBC solution design Oversee configuration and integration across: SAP S/4HANA SAP BTP APIs and banking connectivity Ensure alignment between: Technical delivery Business processes Commercial outcomes Lead client workshops to define and validate requirements 3. Client & Stakeholder Leadership Act as the primary programme lead for clients and internal stakeholders Engage at senior/C-suite level where required Manage expectations across scope, timelines, and outcomes Build trusted relationships to support expansion and upsell opportunities 4. Presales & Commercial Support Support presales processes, including: Solution shaping Architecture input Client proposal development Work alongside sales/commercial teams on priority opportunities Ensure smooth transition from deal → delivery → live revenue (This reflects the broader scope discussed where the role goes beyond pure delivery) 5. SAP & Partner Ecosystem Management Build and manage relationships with: SAP stakeholders System integrators Strategic partners Coordinate with partners on delivery and solution alignment Support the development of a partner-led delivery and growth model 6. Programme Build & Scalability Develop a repeatable SAP MBC delivery model Define implementation standards, templates, and methodologies Contribute to: Go-to-market approach Commercial model refinement SAP MBC proposition development Support transition from early-stage programme to scaled delivery capability Key Deliverables Structured SAP MBC delivery framework Successful implementation of initial client programmes Scalable implementation methodology and playbooks Strong stakeholder governance and reporting structures Post-go-live stabilisation models Experience & Qualifications Essential Proven delivery of SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise programmes Strong programme management experience (multi-workstream, multi-entity) Experience in: Integration (APIs, middleware, SAP BTP) Financial systems / transformation programmes Track record managing partners and third-party vendors Desirable SAP Activate or similar delivery methodology Experience in build-phase or early-stage programmes Exposure to payments / fintech / treasury environments Core Competencies Programme leadership & ownership Solution design & business translation Stakeholder & executive engagement Commercial awareness Governance & risk management Partner ecosystem management Success Profile (First 6–12 Months) Establish a clear SAP MBC delivery framework Deliver first implementations successfully Enable initial client go-lives and revenue activation Build credibility internally and with SAP ecosystem Create a scalable and repeatable delivery model
