Sales Executive - Mid-West and South-Central Coast (Pharma Products - Esco)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and oversee the sales and business development efforts for Esco's Pharma products in the West. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare organizations to drive sales and market penetration of our products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector on the West Coast. Generate leads, conduct market research, and develop strategies to expand Esco's customer base.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet sales objectives. Collaborate with the sales team to implement tactics that drive sales growth and market share.
  • Product Presentation: Showcase Esco's Pharma product portfolio to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling propositions and benefits. Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and webinars as needed.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer support. Engage in regular communication to address concerns, inquiries, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantages.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline and update CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and opportunities. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to ensure smooth product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer support.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent Esco at industry-related trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products, expand networks, and gather market intelligence.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical research and development processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and overcome challenges.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Location: This position is based in the Mid-Western and South-Central regions (e.g., Texas, Colorado, California, Utah, Washington) with frequent travel required within the region and occasionally nationally or internationally. Benefits:
