Revenue Reporting Manager (Nonprofit - Contract to hire)

Fetch Staffing Solutions is filling a fully remote Revenue Reporting Manager position, on a 6-month contract to hire basis, for a nonprofit client based on the east coast. Candidates can reside in the central or eastern time zones working normal ET business hours. Hourly rate is $55 - $60/hr. If interested, please submit your resume for immediate consideration. The Revenue Reporting Manager will work closely with the Accounting Staff and Senior Management. The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Duties and Responsibilities: · Point of contact between the Finance Department and external and internal audit groups. · Responsible for Grant compliance: reporting and grant revenue recognition. · Assist in establishing standard operating procedures, Internal Controls, and best practices. · Prepare / review journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortizations, and reclasses) · Document processes for preparing audit and other reporting schedules. · Serve as external auditor to include creating work papers, preparing audit schedules, and working directly with the client. · Provide/maintain auditor access to portals and systems. · Point of contact for Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA). · Provided documentation/support as required by NICRA consulting firm. · Research root cause of audit findings and recommend/implement procedures to mitigate future findings. · Prepare Flash Reports, Monthly Reporting Packages, Board Reporting Packages, and other Reporting Packages as required. · Prepare Annual Financial Statements and Tax Returns including 990 tax form. · Research accounting pronounces as they pertain to the organization. · Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications · 5+ years’ experience in public accounting firm with focus on not-for-profit and/or governmental entities. · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university required. · Experience with Federal Grants Management and Grant Compliance, Nonprofit financial reporting, Grant accounting, and reporting. · Knowledge of current and emerging GAAP and related audit standards as they relate to not-for-profit entities. · Knowledge of fund accounting, grant revenue recognition (restricted and nonrestricted) · Experience with prepared net asset roll-forwards; as well as preparing financial statements and 990 tax forms preferred. · Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Excel and Access. · Proficient in NetSuite preferred. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment. · Superb ability to communicate effectively and professionally with management, staff, department heads, and other stakeholders. · CPA or on CPA track a plus.
