We work closely with executive leadership teams to align sales, marketing, and revenue operations through strategic advisory, process design, infrastructure optimization, and execution support. We are seeking a highly strategic, client-facing RevOps Consultant who thrives in fast-paced consulting environments and understands how revenue infrastructure directly impacts growth, scalability, forecasting, and enterprise value. Position Summary The RevOps Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping assess, design, and improve sales and marketing infrastructure, operational processes, reporting frameworks, and revenue workflows. This role requires someone who can move comfortably between executive-level strategy discussions and practical operational recommendations while navigating a diverse portfolio of clients across industries and growth stages. The ideal candidate brings prior consulting experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and deep familiarity with the challenges facing lower middle-market organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Strategic Consulting · Serve as a client-facing consultant across multiple engagements and industries. · Assess sales, marketing, and revenue operations infrastructure to identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities. · Advise executive leadership teams on scalable commercial operating models and revenue infrastructure improvements. · Help clients improve forecasting visibility, pipeline management, lead flow, reporting accuracy, and operational alignment. · Develop strategic recommendations that directly support revenue growth and scalability. Revenue Operations & Infrastructure · Evaluate and optimize CRM architecture, pipeline design, lifecycle stages, lead routing, and reporting frameworks. · Analyze sales and marketing workflows to improve operational efficiency and data visibility. · Support the development of KPI frameworks, dashboards, governance processes, and operational cadences. · Identify process bottlenecks impacting sales execution, marketing effectiveness, and customer acquisition. Executive Communication & Presentation Development · Develop and deliver polished executive-level presentations and recommendations. · Present findings, assessments, and strategic roadmaps to leadership teams, investors, and stakeholders. · Translate complex operational and commercial concepts into clear, actionable business insights. · Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and client working meetings. Consulting & Engagement Support · Navigate multiple client engagements simultaneously in a dynamic consulting environment. · Collaborate closely with internal consulting leadership and client stakeholders. · Contribute to assessment methodologies, delivery frameworks, and strategic recommendations. · Support business development discussions and client expansion opportunities where appropriate.
Qualifications
Required · Prior consulting experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, GTM, or related advisory roles. · Deep experience working with lower middle-market companies. · Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills. · Experience developing executive-level deliverables and strategic recommendations. · Strong understanding of sales and marketing infrastructure and how it impacts revenue performance. · Experience assessing and improving CRM processes, pipeline management, reporting, and operational workflows. · Ability to navigate diverse client environments and adapt quickly across industries and business models. · Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities. · Comfortable operating independently in fast-moving consulting engagements. · Some travel required (25%) Preferred · Experience working with private equity-backed companies or portfolio operations initiatives. · Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or similar revenue technology stacks. · Experience supporting sales transformation, RevOps modernization, or GTM optimization initiatives. · Eastern Time Zone location strong
