[Remote] VP, Social Media

Inizio Evoke is a global health marketing, communications, and transformation platform unlocking growth through data-driven insights and human centricity. They are seeking a Vice President, Social Media to lead insight-driven social programmes for healthcare and consumer health brands, shaping client strategy and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic social media and influencer programmes across multiple high-profile healthcare and consumer health accounts
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing senior counsel on social strategy, digital trends, content, and platform innovation within the evolving health landscape
- Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of social campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, and measurable impact
- Partner with creative, media, digital, and account teams to deliver integrated health communications programmes
- Lead client workshops, social training sessions, platform trend briefings, and social media best practice sessions
- Use data, analytics, and social listening insights to shape strategy, uncover audience behaviours, and drive impactful recommendations
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, providing strategic oversight and professional development
- Drive new business growth through pitches, strategic proposals, and identifying opportunities across healthcare and consumer health clients
- Guide teams and clients through fast-moving issues management and reputation-sensitive situations in regulated or consumer-facing environments
Skills
- 10+ years' experience in social media, digital communications, or influencer marketing within healthcare, wellness, pharmaceutical, or consumer health sectors
- Deep expertise across major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and emerging channels
- Strong understanding of healthcare communications, patient and consumer audiences, social trends, creator partnerships, and culturally relevant storytelling
- Experience leading complex client relationships and managing integrated social programmes across multiple accounts
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and leading workshops, training sessions, and pitches
- Experience using social listening and analytics tools such as Brandwatch, NetBase, Julius, or similar
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and supporting business growth
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance environments and approval processes is highly desirable
