[Remote] Vice President Marketing

They are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead the execution of their marketing strategy, drive brand growth, and build community around their products.

Responsibilities

  • Own ROAS, CAC, LTV, and all paid channel performance across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Amazon DSP
  • Diagnose and course-correct attribution gaps - you know the GA4/Shopify attribution dance and it doesn't scare you
  • Build and manage a testing cadence across creative, audience, and landing page that compounds over time
  • Drive Amazon and TikTok Shop channel strategy from launch through scale, including A+ content, SEO, and paid amplification
  • Set and hold the vision for Wizard's social presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Build an owned community that actually converts - not just followers, but believers who bring others in
  • Guide strategic creator relationships across tiers - nano to macro - with a sharp eye for authentic wellness voices
  • Evaluate and develop paid ambassador partnerships, including celebrity endorser candidates
  • Know the difference between content that builds brand and content that drives revenue - and program both
  • Manage our Social Manager and hold them to a content calendar, engagement cadence, and channel-specific KPIS
  • Partner with our Head of Retail to execute in-store and on-site activation strategies, including endcap programming
  • Understand shopper profile differences between retail partners and tailor tactics accordingly
  • Manage our PR agency relationship - hold them accountable for seeding conversion during peak allergy season and beyond
  • Drive earned media strategy in partnership with PR, identifying cultural hooks, creator seeding moments, and editorial angles that cut through
  • Architect breakthrough brand moments that ladder up to a single, unmistakable big idea - not a series of disconnected tactics that happen to share a logo
  • Own the connective tissue across paid, organic, PR, retail, and experiential so every touchpoint feels like it was built from the same brief
  • Bring Wizard to life in culture - at retail launches, live events, and cultural moments like Coachella - in ways that earn attention rather than just occupy space
  • Know the difference between a campaign and a calendar, and have the creative conviction to push for the former

Skills

  • 7–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role at an indie beauty, wellness, supplement, or personal care brand
  • Direct experience launching or scaling products at Walmart and/or Target - you understand retail marketing, planogram realities, and how to drive sell-through at mass
  • Proven performance marketing chops - you can build a paid media strategy, read the data, and make smart decisions without outsourcing your judgment to an agency
  • Social-native - you grew up on these platforms, and you understand how communities actually form around wellness brands
  • Influencer fluency - you've built seeding programs, negotiated paid deals, and know which creators will actually move the needle for a brand like Wizard
  • Strong instincts and excellent judgment - you intuitively understand what is on-brand for Wizard and prioritize with confidence and speed
  • Highly organized, accountability-first operator - you run tight meetings, set clear KPIs, and follow up without being asked
  • A collaborator who can lead - you know when to take direction, when to push back with data, and when to move without waiting for permission
  • You've built integrated campaigns where the big idea came first - and you can point to a moment where your brand showed up in culture in a way that felt surprising, earned, and totally on brand
  • Experience in the allergy, sinus health, or functional wellness space
  • Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central fluency - launch experience strongly preferred
  • TikTok Shop experience - affiliate setup, LIVE commerce strategy, or creator commerce
  • You've managed PR agencies and know how to get more out of them than they want to give
  • You've worked at a brand that was pre-$10M in revenue and helped it cross it - you know what early looks like
  • Beauty industry background that gives you a visual and sensorial instinct for the brand
