[Remote] Technical Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Judge Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support their DevOps organization. This role will focus on documenting and standardizing processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain clear, concise, and structured documentation for DevOps processes
- Create and standardize SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation aligned with ISO 9001 standards
- Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, SMEs, and stakeholders to capture accurate technical processes
- Ensure documentation is compliant with ISO AS9001 quality management system requirements
- Review, edit, and update existing documentation to improve clarity, usability, and compliance
- Establish documentation best practices and templates across the team
- Maintain version control and documentation repositories
Skills
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably supporting DevOps, engineering, or IT teams
- Strong experience developing SOPs and Work Instructions
- Familiarity with or direct experience supporting ISO AS9001 standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar documentation platforms
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of process improvement or quality management systems
