[Remote] Strategy, Fundraising & Operations (Founder Associate)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Matriosh is a stealth-mode startup currently building its MVP and seeking a Founder Associate to work directly with the founder on team building, fundraising, and operations. This equity-only role offers an opportunity to transition into a co-founder position based on performance and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Help identify, screen, and coordinate with potential co-founders and early team members
- Work closely with the founder on fundraising preparation (pitch decks, investor research, outreach planning)
- Support operations and internal structuring as the company takes shape
- Act as a close execution and strategy partner to the founder
- Bring consistency, follow-through, and ownership in an ambiguous, early-stage environment
Skills
- Someone straight out of college or early in their career
- Someone who explicitly wants to grow into a co-founder role
- No strict experience requirement; mindset and commitment matter more than resume
- Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and company-building
- Comfortable working in a non-operational, MVP-stage startup
- Willing to commit to a salary-free, equity-only role initially
