[Remote] Strategic Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gas South is a company focused on providing low rates and excellent customer service. The Strategic Account Manager I will manage a portfolio of strategic wholesale and industrial accounts, handling customer interactions, data analysis, and internal collaboration while learning industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing customer orders, including volume and rate analysis
- Support data entry and account-related inquiries from Strategic Customers
- Learn to analyze customer usage trends and provide recommendations
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Pricing, Trading, Risk, Legal, and Billing) to support customer account activities
- Assist in preliminary invoice development and verification of transactions for assigned accounts
- Maintain accurate records and generate basic reports
- Ensure data is entered and maintained accurately in Salesforce and other systems
- Provide basic support such as validating transactions related to Baseload, Swing, Inday, and Turnback orders for Strategic Customers while escalating complex issues
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Engineering
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service, data analysis, or financial operations in the natural gas industry
- Strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and basic analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Willingness to travel occasionally
