[Remote] Strategic Account Executive – AI Infrastructure

They are seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth for their AI cloud customers by identifying new opportunities and overseeing complex solutions from concept to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Own the total customer relationship, including revenue, wallet share, and satisfaction while driving growth in assigned accounts
- Define the long-term vision and tactical execution for named accounts, identifying new lines of business and partnership opportunities
- Serve as the primary contact for high-level customer communications, maintaining and strengthening senior executive relationships
- Advocate for customer needs within Lenovo, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and alignment across stakeholders
- Partner with Technical Sales, Services, and Engineering teams to design bespoke GPU and high-density compute solutions for AI-scale workloads
- Lead account planning, opportunity prioritization, and the development of strategic account roadmaps
- Facilitate and participate in complex negotiations for assigned accounts
- Manage key customer meetings, task trackers, and presentation materials, coordinating across global time zones as needed
- Oversee the full cycle from opportunity identification to deployment, ensuring synchronized supply chain operations
- Lead responses to large-scale RFPs, developing bid strategies and coordinating tactical execution with Inside Sales
- Analyze account profitability, working with Finance to align P&L data and ensure mutual value in deals
- Conduct in-person Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), factory tours, and represent Lenovo at industry events
- Tackle complex problems through detailed analysis and collaborative solutions with internal teams
- Bring a global perspective to business flow and continuity, applying innovation and sound judgment in solution development
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years of technology sales experience
- 8+ years of sales experience with OEM or ODM vendors
- 8+ years of expertise in strategic selling of current and emerging technologies
- Demonstrated integrity and the ability to provide constructive feedback in challenging scenarios
- 10+ years of Technology sales experience, including roles such as Global Account Executive, Account Manager, or Server Sales Specialist
- 10+ years of Sales experience with OEM or ODM vendors
- 10+ years of Expertise with strategic selling of current and emerging technologies
- Foundational technical knowledge of rack-scale architecture
- Proven ability to engage and sell to technical audiences and engineers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ensuring messages are received with clarity, timeliness and tact
- Strong organizational skills and data-driven decision making ability
- Experience leading large-scale RFP responses, bid strategy and tactical execution
- Experience delivering reports with Finance, specifically P&L data
- Experience leading in-person meetings: industry events, factory tours, site visits, offsite visits, business review sessions
- Experience working across global teams
