They are seeking a Staff Frontend Platform Engineer to help shape their frontend platform and developer experience, focusing on platform engineering, design systems, and developer enablement.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a cross-platform design system across web and mobile
- Build and scale shared component libraries, design tokens, and frontend tooling
- Drive frontend architecture decisions and engineering standards
- Lead modernization initiatives across React, TypeScript, and build tooling
- Improve developer experience through tooling, automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted workflows
- Partner closely with Design, Product, and Engineering leadership
- Mentor engineers and help elevate frontend best practices across the business
Skills
- 8+ years of frontend engineering experience
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
- Experience building and scaling design systems or shared component libraries
- Proven frontend architecture and platform ownership experience
- Exposure to React Native and mobile platforms
- Experience with Storybook, Figma, accessibility, and frontend developer tooling
- Comfortable mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
- Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering productivity tools
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG)
- Internationalization and localization experience
- Experience in SaaS, HealthTech, HRTech, or other high-growth product companies
- Experience working on platform, infrastructure, or developer enablement teams
