[Remote] Sr. UI/UX Designer

The Sr. UI/UX Designer will lead the design of internal tooling and e-commerce initiatives, focusing on optimizing user flows and collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and iterate on core user flows for our e-commerce storefront and internal tools, with a bias toward shipping and improving over time
• Translate product requirements into high-fidelity designs that feel polished, intuitive, and on-brand
• Contribute to and help evolve the design system: components, patterns, states, documentation
• Think through edge cases, error states, and interaction details without being asked
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible and land correctly in implementation
• Use AI actively to accelerate iteration, explore variations, and move faster without sacrificing quality
• Conduct user research, A/B testing, and analytics reviews to inform design decisions and drive key metrics like conversion and retention
• Optimize product discovery, search and filtering, and checkout flows to enhance the overall customer journey
• Partner with merchandising and product teams to align design solutions with business objectives, such as average order value and conversion rate
• Stay ahead of e-commerce trends and headless commerce innovations to ensure our digital experiences remain competitive and cutting-edge

Skills

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, primarily focused on e-commerce platforms and complex internal tooling
• Strong Figma proficiency: components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping
• Proven ability to produce high-quality work on tight timelines without losing attention to detail
• Experience working with or building out a design system
• Clear communicator who can collaborate across design and engineering without friction
• Comfortable in ambiguity; you don't need a perfect brief to start making good decisions
• Hands-on familiarity with integrating AI into your design workflow and a genuine willingness to push that further
• Direct experience designing for modern e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, custom headless storefronts) or enterprise-grade internal tools
• Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Rive); we care about how things move
• Front-end familiarity and experience working tightly with engineers on implementation
