[Remote] Sr. Account Manager, Tire Fill
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carpenter Co. is a company dedicated to improving the quality of life for others through efficient manufacturing processes. They are seeking a Sr. Account Manager to grow their Tire Fill division, responsible for sales, customer relationship management, and business development across various end-use applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop complete understanding of installation & operation of all Carpenter-supplied pumping systems to enable sales discussions and on-site or by-phone troubleshooting
- Ability to conduct on-site training and audit customer processes to determine areas for improvement
- Develop complete understanding of competitor offerings – chemicals, equipment, service programs
- Develop, maintain & modify as necessary territory plan for customer visits
- Develop annual growth plan (including any needs) focused on key customers & prospects
- Represent company at industry events
- Provide weekly reports on sales activities, competitive information, industry trends
- Ability to travel (by air & vehicle) up to 75%
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years in customer facing roles with proven ability to interact at all levels of an organization
- Strong critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to exceed expectations
- Ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment and build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Prior experience in the Tire Industry
- Mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience with Salesforce, SAP, QuickBooks, or Enterprise software
