[Remote] Social Media & Community Manager

Finanshels.com is a fintech company seeking a Social Media & Community Manager who will own their digital presence and drive community growth. The role involves managing social media platforms, engaging with the community, and amplifying founder-led content to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor and manage incoming DMs, comments, and mentions
- You will proactively engage in industry threads, hop on trending topics within the startup space, and spark meaningful dialogues rather than just broadcasting content
- Take complex financial concepts, case studies, and founder-led insights and distribute them creatively across platforms
- You will work closely with leadership to optimize and scale founder-led content distribution
- Own the end-to-end execution of our monthly social media calendar, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and platform-native publishing across LinkedIn and Instagram
- Own and drive the growth and engagement of own client and partner communities across social platforms
- Promote, support, and drive engagement for digital events, webinars, offline partnerships, and community activations, ensuring maximum registration and post-event momentum
- Collaborate with micro-influencers, creators, and community partners within the regional business space to expand Finanshels' organic reach and authority
Skills
- 2–5 years of proven experience specifically in social media management and digital community building
- Master-level understanding of LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, X (for B2B thought leadership and founder networking) and Instagram, Tik Tok (for brand culture, short-form video, and visual storytelling)
- A demonstrable knack for writing engaging copy, crafting witty/insightful replies, and managing community interactions with a human, approachable, and authoritative voice
- A strong familiarity with the UAE startup and SME ecosystem—you should know who the key players, hubs, challenges, and trending business conversations are in the region
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a content calendar, hit deadlines, and track performance analytics to refine our social strategy
- Basic graphic design or short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro) to quickly ship reactive content
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is highly advantageous
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced UAE startup or fintech environment
