[Remote] Social Media Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking a Remote Social Media Analyst to support a client’s Issues Management & Crisis Response Center of Excellence. The role involves monitoring and analyzing media and social channels for potential risks to help protect the client’s brand reputation during weekends and off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and report potential risks and macro-level issues impacting the client
- Monitor global media and social platforms to detect reputational threats
- Produce at least two detailed reports per monitoring shift
- Partner with internal teams for timely media landscape reporting
- Utilize social listening tools and analytics to interpret trends and measure impact
- Support ad-hoc corporate communications monitoring projects as needed
- Work remote shifts: Must be highly responsive and able to cover overnight and early morning hours (7PM-3AM, 3AM-11AM, or 11AM-7AM EST)
Skills
- 1-2 years' experience using social listening tools (Brandwatch, Meltwater, Quid, Talkwalker, etc.) or other digital analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to respond quickly and with urgency
- Must have a personal laptop and reliable internet connection
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Online Journalism, New Media, or related field preferred (junior/senior students considered based on experience)
- English fluency required; additional language a plus
