[Remote] Senior UI/UX Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will create intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences across Armada’s digital products, collaborating with various teams to deliver user-centered solutions that balance functionality and visual quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing products
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms (web, mobile, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented and brand standards are upheld
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results
- Stay up to date with design trends, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the company’s digital products remain innovative and competitive
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital and visual channels
- Ensure accessibility standards and usability guidelines are adhered to in all design work
Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work across web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools for general design tasks
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UsabilityHub, Lookback, etc.)
- Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
- Understanding of latest AI tools and ability to use them to accelerate prototyping and UI/UX design workflow
