[Remote] Senior SAP S4 Hana R2R Treasury Analyst (Remote)

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior SAP S4 Hana R2R Treasury Analyst to support their Corporate instance of S/4HANA. This role involves managing treasury operations, including cash management and investment operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance ERP system functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices
- Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations
- Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices
- Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing
- Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies
- Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program
- Sustainment support – Provide end-users assistance for issues related to SAP treasury functionality, including BAM
- Support implementation of new bank accounts from a technical perspective, ensuring bank connectivity, proper bank file formats and services are in place and functional
- Identify, escalate and resolve bank payment file processing issues to optimize operations
- Advanced payment Management
- Support for Sunset of custom Treasury Applications and transition to std S4 functionality
- System monitoring – Responsible for the integrations inbound and outbound and supporting any failures that may arise
- Travel requirement for this role will be 25 - 50% during the project roll out. Expected to reduce significantly there after
Skills
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities, especially in the areas of FI-GL, FI-BL, FI-AA, Reporting and Profit center accounting, Trading Platform Integration, and Market Rates Management functionality
- Experience supporting SAP integrations for Treasury Operations, e.g Treasury applications including SWIFT, Finastra, FXall, CoProcess, and Reuters and other custom treasury applications
- Background supporting finance processes including but not limited to: Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Project Accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Highly organized including the ability to plan, manage & deliver across numerous bodies of work helping to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements
- Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects (or similarly regulated large organizations) with a compliance mindset including financial regulations, controls, and security measures within an ERP system
- Knowledge of agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects
- Advanced problem solving and adaptability in order to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment while identifying system issues, problems and proposing solutions
