In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. About the Role
Kwik Trip is seeking a Senior Real Estate Manager to drive strategic site selection and development across Illinois and Indiana. In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and secure new store locations while managing projects through acquisition, entitlement, and pre-development. This position is ideal for a results-driven real estate professional who thrives in market strategy, negotiations, and high-impact growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development or related field 4–6 years of experience in real estate, development, brokerage, or related field Strong knowledge of the retail real estate market in Illinois and Indiana Proven experience in the planning and entitlement processes for the development of commercial property Strong knowledge of commercial real estate development in regard to survey, engineering, and legal contracts Public speaking experience presenting projects to city councils, planning commissions, and community stakeholders Accurate and detail oriented Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Exercise sound judgment within company guidelines. Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines. Demonstrate high level of customer service. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record. Understanding of Geographic Information System (GIS) and AutoCAD is a plus. Work Schedule: Fifty hours per week; typically, Monday through Friday, daytime hours with some evening meetings and overnights. Flexibility in schedule.
