[Remote] Senior Product Designer – AI Consumer Experiences
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Team Red Dog is hiring a Senior Product Designer – AI Consumer Experiences for their client, a design-forward technology company. In this role, you will design AI-powered consumer experiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative design solutions that engage millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling experiences for AI-powered news, content discovery, and personalized feeds across Edge, Windows Widgets, and Copilot
- Own product features from early concept through production release
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define user problems and deliver innovative design solutions
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and production-ready specifications using Figma
- Build lightweight coded prototypes to rapidly explore and validate new concepts when appropriate
- Apply design system standards while contributing thoughtful enhancements that improve consistency and scalability
- Collaborate with motion designers to incorporate animation and micro-interactions that enhance usability and delight
- Present work during design critiques, communicate design rationale, and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Deliver pixel-perfect designs with exceptional attention to visual quality and execution
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities, consumer design trends, and modern creative workflows
Skills
- 5–7 years of professional product design experience designing consumer-facing digital products
- Extensive experience designing consumer-facing digital products using Figma, including component libraries, interaction design, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff
- Strong expertise in typography, layout, color, iconography, and creating polished, pixel-perfect user interfaces with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience building interactive prototypes, including lightweight front-end development or coded prototypes to validate concepts and user experiences
- Experience designing products for large-scale consumer audiences with a strong understanding of engagement, usability, personalization, and user behavior
- Strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding visual design craft and shipped product work
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including component systems, interaction flows, prototyping, and design systems
- Experience creating interactive prototypes, including familiarity with front-end technologies or lightweight coded prototypes
- Strong foundation in typography, color theory, layout, iconography, and interaction design
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional product teams from concept through engineering implementation
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative product development environments
- Portfolio submission is required; candidates without a portfolio will not be considered
- Must have at least 12 months of remaining Microsoft eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Motion design experience using After Effects, Principle, Lottie, or similar tools is a plus
- Experience using generative AI design tools such as Figma Make, MidJourney, DALL·E, Runway, or similar is highly desirable
