[Remote] Senior Manager, Nutanix Platform Engineering

Confidential company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Nutanix Platform Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, operations, and lifecycle management of their Nutanix infrastructure. This role will oversee a team of engineers responsible for delivering a highly available, scalable, and secure private cloud platform while driving automation, modernization, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Nutanix infrastructure engineers
- Own the design, deployment, and management of Nutanix AHV, Prism, storage, and platform services
- Drive platform reliability, performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Develop infrastructure standards, automation, and operational best practices
- Partner with architecture, security, networking, and application teams to support business objectives
- Manage upgrades, lifecycle management, vendor relationships, and strategic roadmap planning
Skills
- 4+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with significant expertise in Nutanix platforms
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing infrastructure teams
- Deep knowledge of Nutanix AHV, Prism, HCI architecture, virtualization, storage, and private cloud technologies
- Experience with automation, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise-scale operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
