[Remote] Senior Manager, Account Management - Retail Media

Albertsons Media Collective is seeking a Senior Manager, Account Management to lead a high-performing team overseeing a portfolio of CPG clients. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction, campaign performance, and revenue growth while building scalable processes for efficiency and long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Management professionals, including a player/coach with direct reports
- Establish performance standards focused on client retention, revenue growth, and execution excellence
- Build a high-accountability culture rooted in data, storytelling, and client impact
- Optimize team structure, capacity planning, and workload allocation across a large, complex client portfolio
- Own client health, retention, and renewal performance across various CPG accounts
- Drive strategic account plans that unlock upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure delivery of best-in-class client experience across campaign execution and reporting
- Act as executive escalation point for key clients and high-priority issues
- Champion a data-first culture, ensuring teams translate campaign performance into actionable insights and compelling client narratives
- Partner with analytics teams to standardize reporting frameworks and performance measurement
- Elevate team capability in data interpretation, storytelling, and consultative selling
- Partner closely with Sales to align on account strategy, growth opportunities, and pipeline conversion
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and operations teams to improve processes and enable execution excellence
- Act as the Voice of the Customer to influence product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and service model improvements
- Design and implement scalable account management processes that improve efficiency and consistency
- Drive continuous improvement across campaign execution, reporting workflows, and client communication
- Monitor business KPIs (retention, renewal rate, upsell revenue, campaign performance) and act on trends
- Contribute to long-term organizational planning, including headcount strategy and capability building
Skills
- 6-8 plus years in account management, retail media, digital media, or CPG-facing roles
- 3 plus years of people leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead teams managing large, complex client portfolios
- Strong analytical fluency with ability to translate data into insights and client-facing narratives
- Demonstrated success driving client retention, renewals, and revenue growth
- Experience building processes and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing managers or team leads is preferred but not required
