[Remote] Senior Implementation Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bolt is an insurtech company on a mission to revolutionize the insurance landscape by connecting people with the protection they need. The Senior Implementation Consultant will be responsible for managing partner implementations end-to-end, ensuring successful configuration and launch of Bolt's solutions while collaborating with various teams to drive execution.
Responsibilities
- Own OOTB partner implementations end-to-end as a client-facing individual contributor, executing the work directly from kickoff through go-live
- Configure, administer, and launch the platform hands-on for partners, translating workflows into working solutions and validating through go-live
- Partner closely with the technical Professional Services team as a hands-on resource to offload work, unblock delivery, and keep implementations moving
- Independently onboard and implement OOTB partners on quick-turnaround engagements while owning the customer relationship through go-live
- Translate business needs into documented requirements and partner with Product to define user stories and prioritization
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Markets, Embedded Performance, and Support to drive execution from requirements through testing and release
- Track progress, surface risks, and communicate status to internal stakeholders and partners
- Support business reviews, KPI reporting, and project health metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and address delivery bottlenecks, helping scale onboarding processes as Bolt grows
- Manage partner-driven enhancements, change controls, and go-to-market expansions
- Gather, document, and validate high-level and functional requirements
- Coordinate estimation, delivery milestones, and timelines with development teams
- Perform hands-on configuration and administration of OOTB solutions, including workflow setup, data mapping, and build validation
- Facilitate testing, partner training, and smooth transition into production and support
- Act as the client-facing point of coordination across cross-functional teams during onboarding while directly implementing quick-turn OOTB partners
- Contribute to partner communications, business reviews, and operational insights reporting
- Proactively identify issues and escalate as needed to ensure partner and internal alignment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5–7 years in implementation, technical onboarding, or solution delivery with execution-first experience and lightweight project management
- Functional understanding of SaaS platforms and Agile development processes
- Hands-on ability to configure and administer SaaS platforms, including data mapping, workflow setup, and validation through go-live
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven customer-facing experience leading external clients or partners through delivery while implementing OOTB solutions directly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Travel flexibility of approximately 5–10% for partner kickoffs, go-lives, and key onboarding milestones
- Background in insurance, ideally P&C or embedded models, is a strong plus but not required
- Experience with onboarding/project tools such as Rocketlane or call intelligence tools such as Gong is a bonus
