[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SGA Dental Partners is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, and assisting with financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports
- Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes
- Understanding key business drivers
- Assisting project teams with financial guidance
- Developing financial projections and building financial models
- Performing research and analysis as required
- Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
- Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits
- Prepare cost projections
- Analyze and report on current financial status
- Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
- Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
- Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
- Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
- Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
- Establish financial policies
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
- Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, (CPA or CFA a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
- Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
- Working knowledge of financial strategies
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
- Advanced skillset in Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience with a wide range of GL systems including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite is highly preferred
