[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence and partner with key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives through data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers, interpreting results to provide clear, actionable business recommendations
- Develop, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to support key business initiatives Responsible for reporting and analysis of provider data to aid in provider account management, development of dashboards and creation of new reports as appropriate
- Build, optimize, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to enhance self-service reporting
- Automate reporting processes to improve data accessibility, consistency, and efficiency across the department
- Validate, cleanse, and transform datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and strict adherence to governance standards
- Support data modeling, standardization, and master data management efforts
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and decision-support cases
- Communicate analytical findings and data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in data pipelines, reporting efficiency, and analytical methodologies
- Contribute to best practices within the analytics team and support junior analysts through informal mentoring
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from large relational databases
- 3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
- 3+ years of experience performing data manipulation, analysis, and utilizing advanced functions within Microsoft Excel
- 3+ years of experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Experience with data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Experience working within a healthcare or highly regulated environment (e.g., CMS guidelines, quality reporting, STARS rating support)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis or basic machine learning techniques (e.g., Python, R, SAS)
