[Remote] Senior Consultant, AI & Technology Transformation
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wellesley Cove Group is seeking a Senior Consultant, AI & Technology Transformation to support client-facing consulting engagements focused on AI and technology-enabled transformation. The role involves working directly with business stakeholders to document requirements, coordinate with technical teams, and drive AI initiatives from idea to execution.
Responsibilities
- Support AI consulting and technology transformation initiatives in a client-facing environment
- Work with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, goals, and requirements
- Facilitate or support requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and working meetings
- Document business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, user stories, and decision points
- Translate business needs into clear inputs for technical, data, AI, automation, and product teams
- Support the design of AI-enabled workflows, process improvements, and technology solutions
- Coordinate across business users, consultants, data teams, developers, and technical stakeholders
- Track action items, open questions, dependencies, risks, issues, and next steps
- Prepare client-ready materials, including meeting notes, status updates, requirements documents, process maps, and PowerPoint presentations
- Help manage workstream cadence, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and deliverable quality
- Support testing, user acceptance, change management, and implementation planning as needed
- Help ensure that AI and technology solutions are practical, business-aligned, and grounded in real operational needs
Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, technology transformation, digital transformation, AI initiatives, data/analytics projects, or related roles
- Prior Big-4 consulting experience with Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, or a similar consulting services firm
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn conversations into clear requirements, action items, and deliverables
- Experience supporting technology, data, automation, AI, analytics, or process improvement initiatives
- Strong PowerPoint, documentation, and written communication skills
- Strong meeting facilitation, note-taking, follow-up, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, details, deadlines, and follow-ups without heavy oversight
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Irvine, CA
- Experience supporting AI, generative AI, automation, analytics, cloud, or enterprise technology transformation projects
- Familiarity with requirements tools, agile delivery, user stories, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Experience creating process maps, operating models, workflow documentation, or business capability assessments
- Exposure to data, reporting, business intelligence, or AI-enabled workflow design
- Experience supporting UAT, training, change management, or implementation readiness activities
- Strong executive presence for a Senior Consultant level role
