[Remote] Senior Consultant

The Senior Consultant will deliver consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and support strategic development while fostering team growth and contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting engagements, translating GlobalData research into clear, decision-focused client insights
- Lead multiple workstreams, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and quality standards
- Support the Engagement Manager with project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules
- Ensure workstreams are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and agreed quality standards
- Review outputs for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and alignment to client objectives
- Apply structured consulting frameworks to turn qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable recommendations
- Support Consulting Directors and Engagement Manager in maintaining client satisfaction through reliable, value-added delivery
- Engage directly with clients to present findings, respond to questions, and refine outputs based on feedback
- Ensure deliverables clearly link findings to client priorities
- Contribute to client-ready materials that support decision-making
- Support the development of consulting solutions and engagement approaches
- Leverage team skills and company assets to create innovative solutions and new business opportunities
- Assist Consulting Directors with client and business development initiatives
- Apply consulting frameworks to structure decision-oriented client narratives
- Contribute to recommendations aligned with client strategic priorities
- Support the growth of a dedicated consulting team, promoting continuous learning and high performance
- Provide guidance and coaching to Consultants on delivery skills, structured thinking, and quality standards
- Foster collaboration across consulting, research, and sales teams
- Contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative consulting culture
- Contribute to thought leadership, including white papers, articles, client insights, and presentations
- Support GlobalData representation at client meetings, webinars, and industry events
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve consulting methodologies, tools, and processes
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics
Skills
- Ability to conceptualise and communicate solutions, synthesising complex information into clear, client-relevant insights
- Proactive, structured, and pragmatic approach to addressing complex client challenges
- Experience delivering quantitative analysis using primary, secondary, and proprietary data, alongside structured qualitative research (interviews, surveys) to produce actionable conclusions
- Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to produce clear, error-free, audience-aware deliverables
- Expertise in data analysis, modelling, market sizing, competitive analysis, benchmarking, and primary research
- Experience in Enterprise Software, Technology, or Telco sectors through industry or consultancy
- Proven project and small-team management experience in client-facing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
- Typically 4–7 years in consulting, strategy, or research-led consulting environments
