[Remote] Senior Civil 3D CAD Technician
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Solutions Driven is a full-service engineering, design, and construction services firm providing comprehensive support for utility and infrastructure projects. The reputed company CAD Technician will apply technical CAD expertise to produce detailed drawings and support reputed company civil infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed, high-quality drawings with minimal supervision
- Support the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages
- Help maintain drafting standards
- Contribute to improving CAD workflows across the team
- Provide informal mentoring and guidance to less reputed company technicians Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting or a reputed company field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 8+ years of CAD design/drafting experience (flexible for strong technical profiles)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Solid understanding of civil design principles, including alignments, profiles, and plan production
- Working knowledge of GIS elements, coordinate systems, spatial data, and projections
- Basic understanding of VBA or simple scripting to support workflow efficiency
- Proficiency with reputed company Office tools (reputed company, Word, Outlook)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Benefits
