[Remote] Senior Account Executive, Odoo ERP

Novobi is a company that specializes in ERP solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth for Odoo ERP engagements. This role involves owning the full commercial lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, and ensuring successful engagement design and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own a quota-carrying revenue target across new business and existing accounts, with meaningful, uncapped variable compensation tied to bookings
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of Odoo ERP opportunities aligned to Novobi’s target industries and service offerings
- Drive opportunities from qualification through contract execution with forecast accuracy
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing client relationships
- Act as a trusted advisor to client executives, understanding their business objectives, constraints, and decision drivers
- Lead early-stage business discovery to frame problems, success criteria, and transformation priorities
- Design engagement structures that balance client value, delivery feasibility, and commercial viability
- Ensure expectations around scope, outcomes, and responsibilities are clearly defined and aligned before close
- Collaborate closely with Delivery to shape solutions that are technically feasible and repeatable
- Ensure solution direction aligns with client goals without overcommitting or overspecifying during sales
- Translate Delivery input into clear, client-facing narratives and proposals
- Serve as the primary owner of 'what is being sold,' while Delivery owns 'how it will be delivered.'
- Own proposal strategy, structure, and positioning
- Lead pricing, phasing, and commercial negotiations
- Present proposals to client stakeholders with confidence and clarity, supported by Delivery as needed
- Ensure all deals meet Novobi’s commercial, delivery, and risk standards prior to close
- Maintain primary client relationship through Architect & Design and implementation close
- Ensure a clean, structured handoff to Delivery with full context, documented assumptions, and success criteria
- Remain engaged as an executive sponsor during implementation to support delivery success and long-term account growth
- Quota / bookings attainment against target, win rate, and average deal size and quality
- Quality and predictability of solid work (minimal scope correction post-close)
- Client satisfaction with the sales and engagement design experience
- Strength of collaboration and trust with Delivery leadership
- Growth of assigned accounts over time
Skills
- A proven track record in one of two profiles: (A) deep ERP or professional-services consulting experience (typically 7+ years) with significant client-facing responsibility, now selling and owning client relationships; or (B) a strong direct-sales record at an ERP partner, systems-integration, or implementation firm, with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, preferably in ERP or complex systems implementations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders
- Proven ability to balance commercial goals with delivery reality
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and shaping structure where it does not yet exist
